My newest bear….I wasn’t going to produce this one, sat on my shelves for years until wonderful collectors came by the studio to pick up a sculpture and saw this bear. 

I love when someone sees a sculpture that was never going to be…and brings it to life. I truly appreciate that….they become a part of the story of its creation. This is “Earth and Sky”….the grizzly bear representing g the Earth where he dwells and the Raven design on his front and back representing Sky. 

Though we walk the earth we are also connected to the heavens…every creation is keenly aware of something bigger than themselves

The bridge connecting the feet represents the connection  of the two realms.
